Towards a Formal Description of Context
نویسندگان
چکیده
An important aspect of wearable computing is the fact that users do not focus their attention exclusively on the wearable computer but are often occupied by other tasks. Therefore, implicit interaction is desirable because it avoids constant user attention. The information that is needed to support such interaction is usually called context information. To establish context, a wearable device needs to observe the user and its environment through sensors to afterwards interpret this information to enable implicit interaction. Current research on context is pointing in many directions. The Context Toolkit[1] aimed to be a reusable solution to handle context in a distributed infrastructure. In [2], Gellersen et al. presented several prototypes that use data from multisensors instead of a simple sensor. Others use context for building intelligent user interfaces like Bolt’s Pioneer work in [3]. Because of the different notions of context and the obvious lack of an precise definition, this paper is an attempt to define context in a more formal way.

Up to now, many studies have been done to show the origin of attitudes and their relationships with behaviors or actions. Some of those works have focused on students' attitudes and some have introduced the various contexts of language teaching and learning. متن کاملWeb Service Choreography Verification Using Z Formal Specification
Web Service Choreography Description Language (WS-CDL) describes and orchestrates the services interactions among multiple participants. WS-CDL verification is essential since the interactions would lead to mismatches. Existing works verify the messages ordering, the flow of messages, and the expected results from collaborations. In this paper, we present a Z specification of WS-CDL. Besides ve...

متن کاملTowards an Implementation of a Multi-Context System Framework
This system description provides (after a limited formal introduction to the topic) an overview of our proof-of-concept multi-context system framework implementation, lining out the main functionalities and working principles. Moreover, two basic techniques for reducing computational complexity when searching for equilibria of a multi-context system are proposed.

Our Journal's tendency towards the real world in applied linguistics and literary studies should have significant epistemological and methodological consequences in researching the fields.
